as I understand, Genie uses three variables:<br>
InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.ManufacturerOUI,<br>
InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.ProductClass and<br>
InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.SerialNumber<br>
to generate DeviceID in form OUI-ProductClass-SerialNumber.<br>

Is it possible to change this behavior?<br>
I found out, that on certains CPE </font><font size="-1"><font
size="-1">InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.ProductClass<br>
</font>and InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.HardwareVersion</font><font
size="-1"><span style="color: rgb(70, 60, 0); font-family:
"Lucida Sans Unicode", "Lucida Grande",
Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal;
font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal;
font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2;
text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none;
white-space: nowrap; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;
-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial;
text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important;
float: none;"> </span>changes within firmware upgrade - <br>
for example on earlier firmware version it was r57_09 and on newer
it is R57_10 what makes Genie discover it as new device.<br>
It would be enough for me to have only OUI-SerialNumber
combination for DeviceID.<br>
