Smartrg 505n issue

What firmware do you have on the 505's? is the latest iirc. How many interfaces do you have on the 505? Which interface do you have the management server bound to?

In my setup, we have a 0/35 and 0/36 pvc setup. The 35 is the public internet, and the 36 is doing IPoE and vlan'd to our ACS. I have the management server bound to the interface (atm1.1). Works really well and it allows us to control the cpe if it's in bridged mode.
