Best way to update GenieACS

Good morning.

I would like to know the best way to update GenieACS, because in a 
company, they have GenieACS 1.0.0 running, but after performing a /npm 
update -g genieacs/ there was no output. Then I tried a /npm install -G 
genieacs./

I realized GenieACS wasn't updated to 1.0.6. Is there a way to update it 
to 1.0.6 from npm?
